The Virginia Bankruptcy Center is a trade name of Margaret C. Valois, PLLC, a private law firm founded by Margaret Valois in 2003. She also has another trade name, James River Legal Associates, under which the firm handles non-bankruptcy cases.
The firm is private law firm, and is not affiliated with any government agency or department. The firm is a debt relief agency and it helps people file for relief under the bankruptcy code.
